In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange issued a strong warning to the state government, stating that severe consequences would result if elections were held without addressing the Maratha community's demand for reservation. Jarange called for a large gathering at a Dasara Melava event in Narayangadh, Beed district, urging Marathas to stand united in their fight for reservation. Emphasizing that he will not compromise on any demands, including the withdrawal of criminal cases against community members, Jarange warned that the state government would face backlash in upcoming elections if it continued to disregard the Maratha community's needs. He highlighted the importance of dignity and equality for Marathas, mentioning that political parties should not alienate such a significant portion of the state's population. Jarange criticized certain individuals within the ruling administration for creating obstacles and proposed solutions to grant Marathas reservation outside of the current OBC quota. Despite promises from the government to address the issue, progress has been slow, causing frustration among the Maratha community.
